- to consider matters in relation to admissions
- to monitor pupil attendance
- to consider the effectiveness of collaborative work within the Federation
- to keep potential academisation and other school structures under review
- to review the structure and performance of the Governing Board
- to consider the training needs of governors
- to appoint co-opted governors according to the skills needed by the Governing Board

- to consider performance data relating to academic standards and achievement, leadership and provision

- to consider and deal with matters in relation to the pupil well-being, behaviour and the schools’ support for families
- to review the use of Pupil Premium funding
- to consider the distinctiveness of the school in accordance with its Church of England foundation
- to consider matters relating to transition between the schools
