  • all matters in relation to safeguarding
  • to consider matters in relation to admissions 
  • to monitor pupil attendance
  • to consider the effectiveness of collaborative work within the Federation
  • to keep potential academisation and other school structures under review 
  • to review the structure and performance of the Governing Board
  • to consider the training needs of governors 
  • to appoint co-opted governors according to the skills needed by the Governing Board

Teaching, Learning, Standards and Distinctiveness Committee (TLSD)

  • to consider performance data relating to academic standards and achievement, leadership and provision
  • to consider the curriculum and its delivery 
  • to ensure that the requirements of pupils with Special Education Needs including higher attaining pupils are met so far as is practicable 
  • to consider and deal with matters in relation to the pupil well-being, behaviour and the schools’ support for families 
  • to review the use of Pupil Premium funding
  • to consider the distinctiveness of the school in accordance with its Church of England foundation 
  • to consider matters relating to transition between the schools
